* official pipe and drum band competition starting at 8 am

* Sammy Cheng Lion Dancers perform at 1 and 3 pm
* evening performance by Celtic Powerhouse
* Provincial Town Crier competition

Welcome to the second annual Oshawa International Festival!

The best pipe bands from across Ontario and Canada come to Oshawa for two days amazing music and intense competition featuring hundreds of talented and dedicated musicians. Oshawa's event is the only sanctioned competition in the Greater Toronto Area and the largest display of pipe and drum bands in the GTA.

Experience the majesty, passion and stirring sounds of the very best pipers and band ensembles.

Best of all, this event is free to the public - area residents and visitors alike - so join us for all or part of the weekend's festivities. Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you! Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs!
